March is National Multiple Sclerosis Education and Awareness Month. MS is a disease that is often misunderstood. Over 350,000 to 400,000 people have been diagnosed with MS. Additional reports indicate that maybe over 2 million people may be affected by it.

March is also National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. It is the second leading cause of cancer related deaths for both men and women (about 150k deaths a year). It is highly preventable through screening.
